Fright Krewe Trailer Previews DreamWorks Animation’s Horror Series

DreamWorks Animation has released a new Fright Krewe trailer for the upcoming Peacock and Hulu animated horror series. The series is set to debut on both streaming platforms on Monday, October 2.

What is Fright Krewe about?

“An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries,” reads the series’ official synopsis. “The team is catapulted into learning about the town’s biggest secret – that vampires, rougarous, ghosts, monsters and demons are in fact very real. But, honestly? ‘Saving the world’ might be easier than becoming friends in the all-new animated series, Fright Krewe!”

Created by Roth and Frey, Fright Krewe is a series consisting of 10 episodes. Eli Roth and James Frey will executive produce alongside Joana Lewis and Kristine Songco. Shane Acker and Mitchell Smith join the series as co-executive producers.

Fright Krewe marks DreamWorks’ first animated horror series geared toward older children. DreamWorks is the studio behind several successful animated franchises, including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, The Boss Baby, and Madagascar.

The series stars Sydney Mikayla, Tim Johnson Jr, Grace Lu, Chester Rushing, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Jacques Colimon, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Richards, X Mayo, Rob Paulsen, David Kaye, JoNell Kennedy, Melanie Laurent, Chris Jai Alex, Reggie Watkins, Cherise Boothe, Keston John, Grey Delisle, and Krizia Bajos.
