I've been learning here for four months now and I'm appreciating it more and more.

「Private Tutoring vs. Ani-Tribe」

I considered private tutoring, but it was hard to find something with a legit curriculum and resumes to match. Also, private tutors don't regularly give feedback, or else they charge extra for that. And, most importantly, the style of the private tutor's demoreel was one-sided, so it was easy for the student to copy the tutor's work, so I didn't go that route.

• I felt like I was getting private tutoring while learning at Ani-Tribe because they really cater to your feedback in a specific way. Through online campus feedback, video feedback, and live class feedback, I was really satisfied with the level of detail and frequency I was receiving!

• The level of detail and specific information on the curriculum page really gave me a sense that I could trust this school. 

• I'm starting my assignments for my demoreel, and I really like how they try to respect my ideas and help me create the best possible outcome for my animation in my own unique way. I heard that's the kind of degree that lands you jobs, and I am thankful for all the teachers here that support me.

「Traditional Offline Education vs. Ani-Tribe」

(A) I appreciate the benefits that traditional onsite education offers, but I also find that I miss a lot of things during an onsite class!

• If I don't understand something and I miss my chance to ask? With a video tutorial, I can not only review as many times as I want, but I can also change the play speed, pause when I want, and continue when I want. I once watched a video 17 times because each time I rewatched it, I learned something new. LOL.

• Ani-Tribe also has live classes and study groups where I can communicate, ask questions and get answers on a regular basis.

• The fact that I can see all the assignments in progress and the feedback that comes with them, past and present, on the Ani-Tribe online campus has been a game changer for me! It really really helps! :)

(B) What I dislike most about onsite traditional education is the time wasted traveling to and from classrooms and physically having to move from point A to point B every time. It's a lot of energy wasted, in my opinion, and I'd rather not waste time.
 

• Because Ani-Tribe is an online school, I can choose when and where I can learn, and I love that. I can learn from home, at a cafe, or anywhere else, work on projects, and receive feedback freely too. It works well if you are living somewhere else or working part-time or full-time.

• Even if you have an emergency come up, you can still check out the weekly study guidelines, so there is some wiggle room to catch up if you need a break. The fact that I am not under pressure to attend class or complete an assignment on a specific date is, in my opinion, the most significant advantage.I can schedule my education freely.

「Studying Alone vs. Ani-Tribe」

Because 3D animation is a highly skilled, quality-driven work-based job, if you consider the need for a solid curriculum, quality demoreel, work speed, tips and tricks from working professionals, and social networking, I don't recommend studying alone.

I really looked around and did my research to find a place to learn, and I don't regret coming here at all. :)
